In February and March 2010, and with the support of Harmony’s corporate social investment (CSI) programme, HIV&Me delivered its HIV & AIDS Prevention and Management Teacher Training programme to 10 schools in Welkom in the Free State province and to 10 schools in Randfontein in Gauteng.
On 2 September 2009, Harmony entered into a R7.5 million sponsorship agreement over a period of three years with the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) to fund the National Science Olympiad and some of its associated activities.
